Pittenweem Harbour

Description

Fishing boats bob gently in the harbour as the morning sea salt sprays upon the stones. Nets hang drying, and somewhere behind the whitewashed cottages, a garden blooms vivid with geranium and lavender. A woman crosses the cobbles with an armful of fresh cut sage and orange blossoms, humming an ancient song. The cafés have just begin to open to eager patrons ready for breakfast tea and lemon cake.
