Inspired by neolithic 'cup and ring' rock art found across Scotland, this pendant feels hewn from the earth itself. Cup and ring art is often found in Europe on the coastal areas and is dotted throughout the Highlands and Western Isles. While it's purpose remains a mystery, it was certainly a revered symbol appearing sometimes on great slabs of rock in Càrns (Cairns or stone burial sites) or other times on large natural rock formations high up in the hills.

Each piece of jewellery is individually handmade to order, and each piece will vary slightly, making this wearable art completely unique to you!
