Brìghde - 18k Gold Vermeil
Necklace
Brìghde, St. Brigid, or Brìde is a powerful figure in the cultural heritage of Ireland and Scotland. In her goddess aspect, she was the ruler of music and poetry, smith craft, and healing. She was so revered that her legends were adapted into the figure of St. Brigid who lived in Co. Kildare in the 6th century AD. This pendant is shaped in the form of a plectrum to honour her patronage of the arts. It's hammered texture is a nod to her association with the forge.
Each piece of jewellery is individually handmade to order, and each piece will vary slightly, making this wearable art completely unique to you!
